Does the extension read my calendar data?

No. The extension reads only the meeting details visible on screen (attendee count and duration) to calculate cost. It never stores, transmits, or shares your calendar data.

How are hourly rates calculated?

We use publicly available salary survey data for 70+ countries, averaged by role. You can override any attendee's rate individually, or set your own rate in the settings.

What browsers are supported?

Currently Chrome, Edge, and Opera (all Chromium-based). Firefox support is in progress.

What is cloud sync (Pro)?

Pro users can sync their settings and overrides across devices. Data is stored securely and only synced once per day to minimize server load.

Can I cancel Pro at any time?

Yes. You can cancel anytime from your account settings. Your Pro features remain active until the end of your billing period.

Does it work with Zoom or Teams?

Yes, as long as you are viewing the meeting in Google Calendar or Outlook. The extension overlays the cost on the calendar event itself.

Custom Overrides & Settings: If you input custom salary rates, preferred currencies, or specific user roles, this data is stored using your browser’s local storage (e.g.: chrome.storage.local or chrome.storage.sync).
Account Information (Pro Tier): If you subscribe to our paid tiers for cloud synchronization or team features, we collect your email address and authentication details, settings and overrides.

2.3. Automatically Collected Data

If you interact with our website or utilize cloud-sync features, we may collect basic analytics (e.g., extension version, browser type, and operating system) to ensure compatibility and troubleshoot bugs.

activeTab / Host Permissions (e.g., *://calendar.google.com/*, *://outlook.live.com/*): Required to read the DOM (Document Object Model) of your calendar to count participants and track meeting duration.
storage: Required to save your settings, default salary databases, and custom overrides locally on your machine.

We are in the business of saving you time and money, not selling your data.
